1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StoryCraft, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. StoryCraft is operated by the StoryCraft team.

2. Description of Service

StoryCraft is an AI-powered platform that generates personalised Christian storybooks for children. The service includes story generation, illustration creation, interactive activities, and related features. Every account includes one free story; further stories are bought in story packs.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• Account holders must be adults (18 or older): a parent, guardian or other responsible adult
• A young person aged 13 or older may make stories for themselves (“For myself”) through their parent's or guardian's account, with that adult's consent. The account holder is responsible for all use of the account. We do not offer separate accounts for teenagers
• One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted

4. Story Packs & Payments

Every new account includes one free short story. After that, stories are bought in story packs, each a one-off payment that adds a number of stories to your account. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Payments are processed securely through M-Pesa, via Equity Bank's Jenga payment gateway (operated by Finserve Africa Limited). We never see or store your M-Pesa PIN.

• A short story uses one story from your pack and a longer story uses two
• Stories from a pack can be used for 6 months from the date of purchase, after which any unused stories expire
• If a story fails to generate, the stories it used are returned to your account
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• We reserve the right to change pack prices with reasonable notice; a pack you have already bought is not affected

5. Content & Intellectual Property

Stories generated through StoryCraft are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share stories with family and friends. The StoryCraft platform, branding, and underlying technology remain the property of the StoryCraft team.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Resell or redistribute generated content commercially
• Use automated tools to excessively access the service

7. Disclaimer

StoryCraft uses AI to generate stories. While we strive to ensure content is appropriate, faith-aligned, and age-suitable, AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review stories with their children.

8. Limitation of Liability

StoryCraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of StoryCraft after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
